EXTRAHARMONY is the fictional universe from which Manaconda originates, as well as several characters from future albums. EXTRAHARMONY is a blend of all my favourite fictional genres, including cape comics, psychological horror, espionage thriller, and fantasy eroticism.
In EXTRAHARMONY, there exists an additional perceptual layer of existence, from which supernatural forces and powers originate. This is known as the Extra Layer. Humans access the Extra Layer in states of extreme emotional distress; it is a survival mechanism. Humans who are able to do this for extended periods of time are called extrahumans.
There are 8 types of extrahuman powers, which depend upon a person's immediate response in a crisis situation, or a traumatic situation over which they have no power. What they instinctually do first will determine the force that they acquire. The types do not indicate specific powers, but instead determine how they manifest in the person's body, and the power's overall strengths and weaknesses (such as when and how it can be used).
The dimensions of power are detailed in Dr. Ignatius Baron's New Taxonomy of Extrahumanity (1999), helpfully abridged here.
